Alvast bedankt

Trophy Windows Application Note - June 1997 Page n° 2 / 2
How to implement the link:
The practice management software must call the Trophy Imaging executable with 2 command line
parameters:
TW -P -N
This requires that you allocate one directory for each patient. All the images for this patient will
then be saved in that directory.
Please note:
• It is best to launch TW from an icon in the practice management software
• You have the choice for the location and name of the patient directory (TW operates as
a slave, while the practice management software operates as the master)
• It is best to indicate a complete path (instead of just the name of the directory)
• There is no space between -P and the directory
• The -P and -N must be in capital letters
• The patient directory itself will be created by Trophy Windows when the patient is called
for the first time; however, the complete path where this directory is to be created must
exist before launching TW
• After installing the complete Trophy software on the hard disk, you can clean the Trophy
sample database by deleting directories A.RVG to Z.RVG
• The patient’s name is used only to be displayed in the top of the windows and on the
printouts
Example:
The patient’s name is John Sample and his directory is C:\Dental Management Software\Patients
database\Sample:
The command line should be:
TW -PC:\Dental Management Software\Patients database\Sample - N John Sample
Please note: long file names are supported only by TW version 3.0 and above.
