How do we protect your information?

Our website is scanned constantly for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

We use malware scanning and a rule based firewall, as well as a reverse proxy to achieve this.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

You are able to request an XML file with all personal information held from your profile page.

You are at any time able to change your personal information in your profile page.

You are able to see any contribution you made to the forum by using the forum search engine.

The right to be forgotten.
When a user requests to be forgotten, we delete all posted content from this user, we can optionally anonymise posts so the threads/conversations are still comprehensible.

By default, we keep the user information for as long as the forum site will continue to exist. Unless the user requests to be forgotten, of course.

It is technically impossible to remove forgotten user information from all our backups, but if requested, we can keep track of forgotten users by removing them again, in the case we have to restore from a backup.
